Our managers are excited to begin using Performance ++ for employee evaluations to encourage upward growth within our departments.  We believe that consistent and structured feedback will foster an environment in which our employees will feel appreciated.  This program will promote our principles and hold the managers accountable for developing their employees.

​Completing a detailed and comprehensive New Hire Orientation helps to build pride and a full understanding of our Club, as well as employment expectations from the very beginning.  Employees have a sense of pride, knowing the history and understanding of the full operation.  Using the comprehensive details given within Team Builder, as part of new Hire Orientation, has also aided in a dramatic reduction in staff turnover.
In addition, using an effective Performance Review System like Performance++, that is job and industry specific, has helped the managers and employees communicate more effectively – it’s important that everyone has the same understanding of club / job expectations to ensure we are productive and operate as “one-team-one-goal”.

What we really enjoy about Performance ++ is how we are able to adjust and change ​the criteria in which we evaluate our team.  We have used this to reinforce our values, which are now criteria on every evaluation.

Strategic Planning and Team Building

We have adopted the Performance Review System - Performance++ as an integral part of our Strategic Planning for team development and talent management.   We view it as an effective communication tool, it is foreseen to play a very crucial role in giving supervisor a simply and effective tool for the objective of improved performance.  We will rely on timely and accurate input that is shared with the employee.  Such input will prompt us to reward, coach, re-assign tasks or implement other necessary action. 

For the employee, the benefit is to clarify expectations, provide self-assessment opportunities and clarify accountability.  For the supervisor/manager, the benefit will be to save time, reduce conflict and ensure efficiency and consistency in performance. For the Club, the ultimate benefit is to improve everyone performance to provide better employee retention and improved productivity overcoming the barriers of communication.
